The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great... God spoke these words to Abraham on His way to visit the Sodom and Gomorrah of which he was about to destroy. The sinfulness of the city was an abomination before God. The irony of this is that Abraham was able to get God to spare the city if there were only ten righteous people there. This is a sad commentary that there were not even ten righteous people in the entire city. In all of this we can see the compassion and faithfulness of God to His friend Abraham.
"The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know."
