message3

God's Grace is always free. It is a gift to be received, not a prize to be earned. "Salvation is not granted to men as a result of anything they are, or do, or resolve to be, but it is the undeserved gift of heaven."

Sanctification
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

message1

The new birth, the beginning of spiritual life for every believer. When divine life is imparted, the Holy Spirit enters the believer's body. This miracle is achieved through the hearing and believing of God's Word, by the working of the Holy Spirit and by our response to God of believing the truth.

Regeneration
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:6,7

message10

This means "to reckon" or "to put to one's account" by a judicial act of God. God put our sins upon Christ at the cross and He put Christ's righteousness upon us as believers.

Imputation
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19

message9

A middle-man is needed to bring together a Holy God and sinful men. This is the "daysman" for which Job longed and which Christ proved to be.

Mediation
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive
the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:15

message8

You were bought with a price. Believers were once the slaves of sin and uncleanness, the curse of the Law's terrible judgment, fear of impending death, and Satan's power. Now we have been made free in Christ because He has paid the price with His own precious blood.

Redemption
...ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1 Peter 1:18-19

message5

Through Christ's work, not that of man, God has become favorable to us and the claims of justice have been satisfied. The man who prayed the sinner's prayer cried, "God, be propitious to me."

Propitiation
...being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.
Romans 3:24-25

message4

Baptism is a picture of salvation. It is very important, and it follows the new birth, but does not cause it.

Baptism
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19

message7

A divine act of a holy God whereby a sinner who believes in Christ is pronounced righteous before Him and acquited of all charges. Justification is by grace, by faith and by His blood, without works and apart from the law. Justification by works is a demonstration of the reality of faith already possessed, an outward display of faith by action, following salvation.

Justification
...knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Galatians 2:16

God Moves in Mysterious Ways, Part 2

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, September 16, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3712 entitled "God Moves in Mysterious Ways, Part 2" by Jim Hunt. God is not only the Creator; He is also the Sustainer. "In Him all things consist" (Col. 1:17b). He is the One who holds matter together, a fact which incidentally answers one of the problems that still baffles physicists.

The Godly Man

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday September 9, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3612 entitled, "The Godly Man" by Saul Cooper. The Godly man, how do we characterize a Godly man? There are many things that are too numerous to list here that might be traits or characteristics of a godly man. I am going to use Psalm chapter one to show the character of a godly man in contrast to the ungodly man.

God Moves in Mysterious Ways, Part 1

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, September 2, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3512 entitled "God Moves in Mysterious Ways, Part 1" by Jim Hunt. What a wonderful, faithful, unchanging God we have. This is the God of creation. The one true God. Any God will not do. There are many false gods that are being worshiped in the world today. Make sure that you are worshiping and serving the right God.

The Christian's Benefits

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, August 26, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3412 entitled "The Christian Benefits" by Saul Cooper. When we submit our resume to a company or place a job application, there are always two things on our mind. First, what does the job pay and second, what are the benefits. You can have a good paying job with no benefits and health care costs will eat up the pay check. That is why it is so important to have good benefits; especially in the health care area. Sad to say what used to come free as a part of the job is now costing more and more each year. This message is about the benefits Christ offers to all believers.

In Search of the True Faith

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, August 19, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3312 entitled "In Search of the True Faith" by Jim Hunt. Unquestionably, there is nothing more important than having a solid factual and rational basis for one's faith. To the many who think of faith as a belief strongly held and without evidence to support it (and often even in spite of much evidence to the contrary), that may seem an outrageous statement. Logically, however, if believing something strongly doesn't make it so, as human experience daily proves, then it is the greatest folly to continue on with a "faith" which, because it has no basis in fact but merely in fancy, must inevitably prove to be empty. The cost could be eternal and irrecoverable.

The Marriage Feast

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, August 12, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3212 entitled "The Marriage Feast" by Saul Cooper. The wedding feast in the time of Christ was important event, sometimes lasting for several days. The first miracle Jesus performed was at a wedding feast. Jesus used the wedding feast as an example of the marriage supper of the Lamb, Rev. 19:7-10. He is pointing out in this parable, how often other things are deemed more important than accepting the invitation of Christ.

Amazing Grace

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, August 5, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 3112 entitled "Amazing Grace" by Jim Hunt. Grace is the good pleasure of God that inclines Him to bestow benefits on the undeserving. It is God's unmerited favor. It is the first essential in Salvation and is the continuing vital essential in Christian living. The Apostle Paul's letters begin, "Grace be unto you and peace..."  Paul closed every one of his epistles with a prayer that the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ would continue to be with all who would read them. Every true Christian life must begin, continue and end in the sustaining grace of the Savior. The closing words in the book of Revelation are, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."
