message3

God's Grace is always free. It is a gift to be received, not a prize to be earned. "Salvation is not granted to men as a result of anything they are, or do, or resolve to be, but it is the undeserved gift of heaven."

Sanctification
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that
not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9

message1

The new birth, the beginning of spiritual life for every believer. When divine life is imparted, the Holy Spirit enters the believer's body. This miracle is achieved through the hearing and believing of God's Word, by the working of the Holy Spirit and by our response to God of believing the truth.

Regeneration
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
John 3:6,7

message10

This means "to reckon" or "to put to one's account" by a judicial act of God. God put our sins upon Christ at the cross and He put Christ's righteousness upon us as believers.

Imputation
To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5:19

message9

A middle-man is needed to bring together a Holy God and sinful men. This is the "daysman" for which Job longed and which Christ proved to be.

Mediation
And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive
the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:15

message8

You were bought with a price. Believers were once the slaves of sin and uncleanness, the curse of the Law's terrible judgment, fear of impending death, and Satan's power. Now we have been made free in Christ because He has paid the price with His own precious blood.

Redemption
...ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
1 Peter 1:18-19

message5

Through Christ's work, not that of man, God has become favorable to us and the claims of justice have been satisfied. The man who prayed the sinner's prayer cried, "God, be propitious to me."

Propitiation
...being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by His blood, through faith, to demonstrate His righteousness, because in His forbearance God had passed over the sins that were previously committed.
Romans 3:24-25

message4

Baptism is a picture of salvation. It is very important, and it follows the new birth, but does not cause it.

Baptism
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19

message7

A divine act of a holy God whereby a sinner who believes in Christ is pronounced righteous before Him and acquited of all charges. Justification is by grace, by faith and by His blood, without works and apart from the law. Justification by works is a demonstration of the reality of faith already possessed, an outward display of faith by action, following salvation.

Justification
...knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
Galatians 2:16

Patience

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, March 4, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 912, entitled "Patience" by Jim Hunt. Impatience is always self-centered. Always in a hurry. Always agitated. Always doubting and second guessing. Patience shouldn't be characterized by inactivity, resignation, or defeat, but a positive, persevering faith that remains active when what you are waiting for has yet to come to pass.

Uniqueness of the Bible, Part 2

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, February 19, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 712, entitled "Uniqueness of the Bible, Part 2" by Jim Hunt. God has given us a unique book, the Holy Scriptures, that can be known even by children. It is within reach of all people, for God loves all and desires for us to know Him and have eternal life. His Word is as holy as He is; and set apart from all books as the Book that is divine; free from error and impurity. The Scriptures are able to make us wise, both because they are free from error and because they alone contain revealed truth. The Bible uniquely points us to the salvation that is through faith, not works, sacraments, ordinances or ceremonies.

You Must Be Born Again

Τhe audio of the Bible Truth Broacast for the radio show  air date of Sunday Febuary 12, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 612 entitled, "You Must Be Born Again." By Saul Cooper. Have you been born again? The Bible tells us that we must be born again to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. A very religous man came to Jesus one night some two thousand years ago seeking for truth. Jesus told him,Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. It took him a while to understand, but he finally did and he was born again. This is still true today. You must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven, listen and see how.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:3

Uniqueness of the Bible, Part 1

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, February 5, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 512, entitled "Uniqueness of the Bible, Part 1" by Jim Hunt. The world is full of books, but there is no book like the Bible. Man has never yet been able to finish writing books about the Bible, for it is so divine that mortal minds can never exhaust it. Many books have been written against it, and others meant to take the place of it: religion, philosophy, sociology, psychology, political science, parapsychology, etc. It is like trying to replace real money with counterfeit. The counterfeits will always be around, but there is nothing like the real thing.

Sodom and Gomorrah

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, January 29, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 412 entitled "Sodom and Gomorrah" by Saul Cooper. "The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great..." God spoke these words to Abraham on His way to visit the Sodom and Gomorrah of which he was about to destroy. The sinfulness of the city was an abomination before God. The irony of this is that Abraham was able to get God to spare the city if there were only ten righteous people there. This is a sad commentary that there were not even ten righteous people in the entire city. In all of this we can see the compassion and faithfulness of God to His friend Abraham.

The outcry of Sodom and Gomorrah is indeed great, and their sin is exceedingly grave. I will go down now, and see if they have done entirely according to its outcry, which has come to Me; and if not, I will know.
Gen 18:20-21

Providence of God

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, January 22, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 312, entitled "Providence of God" by Jim Hunt. There is a special significance to every detail of your life. This is the essence of the doctrine of divine providence. Divine providence simply means "God's continued activity in the world for the realization of His plan." That is, it is God's continuous involvement in all the details of this world, of this country, of your life. He is involved in all of those details for the purpose of working out and fulfilling His eternal and all wise plan.

Heart of Man

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, January 15, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 212, entitled "Heart of Man" by Saul Cooper. Ηeart is used in Scripture as the most comprehensive term for the authentic person. It is the part of our being where we hunger, deliberate, and decide. It has been described as "the place of conscious and decisive spiritual activity," "the comprehensive term for a person as a whole; his feelings, desires, passions, thought, understanding and will," and "the center of a person, the place to which God turns."

The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick;
Who can understand it?
Jeremiah 17:9

Yet this is the place to which God turns to communicate with man.
