When you've trusted God and walked His way,
When you've felt His hand lead you day by day,
But your steps now take you another way,
When you've made your plans and they've gone awry,
When you've tried your best and there's no more try
When you've failed yourself and you don't know why,
When you've told your friends what you plan to do,
When you've trusted them and they didn't come through,
And you're all alone and it's up to you,
When the year has been long and successes few,
When December comes and you're feeling blue,
God gives a January just for you,

The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, January 1, 2012 has been posted. This is broadcast number 5211, entitled "New Beginning" by Saul Cooper. One of the main stresses of Biblical Christianity is that of newness - the opportunity for rebirth, to become a new person. It has been said that there are no stains or blots on the future. Each person, no matter what the past has held, is faced with the opportunity for a new beginning in life this very day. This morning our study will be to Teach, Illustrate and Apply this Bible Truth.
The Eternal God
The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, April 25, 2010 has been posted. This is broadcast number 1610, entitled "The Eternal God" by Jim Hunt. We spend all of our time in time. We always want to know what time it is. We are ever conscious of the fact that time is slipping away. We spend our whole existence living from moment to moment. But God is not like that. He does not have a succession of moments. The fact that God is eternal means that He transcends time. It is not as if God's existence is like our existence, only longer, rather God lives beyond time. That is why His perspective on time is so different from ours.
With the Lord, a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.
2 Peter 3:8

Do you have a favorite Bible Verse? I think that most of us would be hard pressed to select one favorite verse, because the Word of God is so full of beautiful, meaningful, powerful, words of truth, hope, love and salvation. I suppose that one of the best known and best loved verse is John 3:16. It is probably the first verse most of us learned in Sunday School. This message looks at that verse and many other favorites.
The Triumphal Entry
The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, March 28, 2010 has been posted. This is broadcast number 1210, entitled "The Triumphal Entry" by Jim Hunt. All four of the gospel writers record this remarkable event. It is remarkable because of it's unusual character. Previously, on a number of occasions, Jesus was withdrawing Himself. He seemingly did not want attention. He would send away those who had been healed with the admonition, "Tell no man..." But here, on this occasion, Christ took the initiative...the crowd didn't bring the animal to Jesus...He sent two of His disciples to bring the colt.
The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, March 21, 2010 has been posted. This is broadcast number 0110, entitled "Enoch" by Saul Cooper. In every age and dispensation, God has had His chosen servants exhibiting to all who are around the power of faith, and the beauty of holiness. In the first age of the world, there was Abel, the first of the noble army of martyrs; spoken of by Jesus in Luke 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the house of God; yes, I tell you, it shall be charged against this generation.' Then at the time of the flood there was Noah. In the period between Abel and the flood, there was one servant of God unlike all the others before and since, Enoch of whom our text speaks.
Having an Eternal Perspective
The audio of the Bible Truth Broadcast radio show for the air date of Sunday, March 14, 2010 has been posted. This is broadcast number 1010, entitled "Having an Eternal Perspective" by Jim Hunt. The writer of Psalm 90 ponders the passing of time. He seems to be perplexed, even troubled, by the brevity of life. The years pass quickly, and before we know it, we've come to the end and wonder if our lives have counted for something, for anything. Has it all been trouble and sorrow, or will we have something to show for the years we've spent in this world?
