ORDER OF SERVICES
We meet in person on Sundays and Wednesdays and live virtually (via Zoom). If you like to join us remotely, please contact us for the access information. We are also making the sermons available on our website. The sermons are available live on Zoom and posted on this website.
COMMUNION HOUR (THE LORD’S SUPPER): 9:15 A.M.
The first meeting each Sunday is completely devoted to the remembrance of the Lord Jesus Christ as He instructed (Luke 22:19). We worship the Lord in remebrance of his death and resurrection with symbols of the sacrifice of His body and blood - bread and grape juice. Everyone trusting in Jesus for eternal salvation and living in fellowship with Him is encouraged to partake of these symbols in remembrance of the Lord.
Each individual believer is admonished to “examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup” (1 Corinthians 11:28). If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, or are uncertain on this matter, or for some personal reason do not wish to take part, you are welcome to merely observe by passing the bread and cups of grape juice along (1 Corinthians 11:28).
The order of the meeting is simple and according to God’s Word: Various men in fellowship will share verbally as led by the Holy Spirit. We sing hymns and some men may read Scripture and share worship thoughts about the Lord Jesus. There may be times of silent meditation as we reflect on our precious Savior. Many people say that this is the deepest time of corporate worship of the Lord Jesus that they have ever experienced.
In accordance with God’s Word, the men wear no head coverings and the women do if they choose to in accordance with 1 Corinthians 11:2-16. The men may participate verbally as described above, while the women participate in singing and silent worship (1 Corinthians 14:35; 1 Timothy 2:11-12).
We hope this will be a meaningful time and will help toward a closer relationship with Christ. Feel free to speak with any of the elders if you have any questions.
FELLOWSHIP / SUNDAY SCHOOL: 10:15 A.M.
This hour provides adult Bible studies in both English and Spanish. Children's Sunday School is also available.
THE FAMILY BIBLE HOUR: 11:00 A.M.
Join us for worship songs and a sermon during this hour. We do not have a lead pastor as most western churches, but rather a plurality of elder-led leadership, so you will find that various men with the gift of teaching share the Bible message each week. It is not uncommon to have a variety of different men speaking each week throughout the month.
