Joel teaches from the Gospel according to John, chapters 14 through 21.  Joel highlights how Jesus’ kingdom is not of this world, and how the world opposes him.  As followers of Christ, we are to expect this opposition as we do our Father’s will.  This sermon also has a special mother’s day message, as Jesus showed how much he cared for his mother as he was paying for our sins the cross.
